Simply cycling around
Hey, finally after one week spend in Queenstown I’ve catch the steamer boat toward Walter Peak. From there I’m going to cycle through the valley until Mavora Lakes. I’m going to test also my new camera :-) I bought a Gopro camera to make different movie style. It’s possible to attach it in many different place and it works even until 60 metres under the see! Cool!
Ben Lomond Peak, we wanted to reach out yesterday with Florian but we were late. Our campsite is so quiet so it’s easy to stay in bed and be lazy until 9:30 :-). This time, today April 15th, we have the time and the motivation :-) So let’s go catch on of the best view of Queenstown and around!
This morning I’ve met Florian, a nice French guy, and we are going to watch an event I like very much :-) “big BMX tricks”! This week, there is a special event everyday. There is some downhill competition and also cross country tour and other things I don’t remember. It’s nice to be here just at the right time :-)
Fouaaah… I had a really good quiet night on the private beach :-) And the day starts with the sun, the water’s color is so clear! Looks so pure! Early this morning, it’s was raining and I think I won’t catch the boat today because I need one day to reach Mavora lakes and another one for The Anau. Between those points I will be surrounded only by mountains. So… I don’t know… It’s already 10am…
Fiou! This campsite was awesome! Perfect! Today I’m still gonna ride on the 1.000.000$ trail because it’s nice and so expensive haha :-) I will arrive this afternoon in Queenstown the city where it’s so easy to spend your money. I have to be careful and aware. I will see!
Dunedin! That’s a big city but nice. The weather is getting better and better everyday
Yesterday, we didn’t see any penguins but we still hope to see some around because it’s not the only place in the Catlins. We finally decided to pass the night in the Curio bay doc campsite. Aaah, we are certainly lucky because the sun is coming back this morning :-)
