Simply cycling around
Morning! What a good and quiet night. If the sun would not come up that early I would have slept until 9am! Today, I came back to the same Amazon Cafe as yesterday. I must stretch time :-) I stayed all day and done most of the kilometres this evening. And that’s all I’ve done today :-)
Today I’ve done a short, flat and easy ride to get to the next cafe, nothing really original or fancy. I know in few days, it will be certainly more tricky to work on my laptop so I enjoy doing it now :-). Later this evening I struggled a bit to find a quiet spot where to sleep but finally, as always, I managed to set up my hammock in a middle of a field :-) Really simple day over that…
Today, I’ve been visiting a temple, it has been a long time. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya is THE city for old temples apparently. There few of them in the same area. A part that, I cycled from very early this morning until the next petrol station, stayed there most of the day before I headed to temple to catch the sunset. After the visit I struggled a bit to find my next 5 stars hotel but as always, I found it! :-)
Today, I’ve been cycling mostly during morning time until the next cafe where I stayed all day. Late this evening, I searched a spot around to be able to come back to the same cafe tomorrow. I still have plenty of days front of me so the main rule is: “go slow”.
Today, I’m finally reached on of these unavoidable highway that lead to the capital. Fortunately I know it’s only temporary. I’m not going to cycle straight to Bangkok but will kind of slalom. I still have 5 days to get there so I can take my time. This morning, I’ve found a detour until the next Café. This evening I covered 40km on the highway before I could get out and search for a quiet spot. Everything worked well until my “4 legs best friends” came in…
Ow! How to start a day with an colourful sunrise! When I opened the eyes first I had blink few times to be able to see better and believe what was happening. Quickly I jumped out of my bed, picked up the camera and enjoyed that crazy sunset! The lake amplified a lot the effect!
