Simply cycling around
Today is a sporting day. Wake up around 7.30am we are going to visit Cap Kidnappers with Rob, Christian and a last minute guest, Julia. We will go by bike with Rob during Christian will hitch hikin because he doesn’t like the free bike of our backpacker.
Today I’m coming back to Ruatoria in Maila’s family. The weather is perfect to take some good pictures of the carvings :-)
Hey! Today is the day to reach the highest non volcanic mountain of the north island. I finally decided to go by bike because John, a Maila ‘s friend, told me that it was possible to ride there. It’s a long trip to arrive up there because the road is going slightly up.
Today I’m gonna reach the top of the top of Coromandel Peninsula and the blue sky is come back for at least two days. Perfect! I shouldn’t have to come back by the same road because I will take the Coromandel walkway :-)! Karl did it by walk, I will ride!
Hey! my first time in a bed was good but my tent is cool :-). It’s 7am, I wake up and I’m hungry! I take all my stuff quickly and discretely to not wake up the others… Today I’m going to come back to Thames. I will have the afternoon to find an internet point :-).
Today I will have a good trek in the mountains of Coromandel peninsula. The Pinnacles’ highest point reach 759m and by good weather we can see both sides of the peninsula! Cool!
Ok I’m ready! This time, my bike is in holiday and I’m going to walk in the forest for minimum two hours. I have my lamp, my knife, water, waterproof clothes and motivation. Let’s go :-)
