As people told me, it’s raining now… I’m waiting until the weather gets better and I hope it will. I have only 16km and I think, I can do it in 2 hours maybe. So, I can wait, that’s OK.

Rapahoe > Westport (96km, 6h05)
Today I’m going to visit the Pancakes, then I will move toward Westport. I want to be close to the city centre tomorrow. Westport is the second biggest city of the West coast after Greymouth.
Somewhere after Jacksons > Arthur’s pass village > Paroa (110km, 6h15)
Today, I’m going to visit Arthur’s pass, then come back to Jacksons and finally take another road to go next to the lake called Brunner. That’s the third day without any cloud and certainly the best one the reach the higher saddle of southern Alps. I’ve hidden my trailer and I will come back to pick it up. That way, I will be much lighter to climb the 16% steep slope! Here we go!
Fox glacier, visit around (19km, 1h)
It’s a wonderful day today and I can’t stay more inside. I will finish to update my blog later because now I want to visit two places : The glacier and lake Mathewson from where we are able to see Aoraki/Mt Cook. It s a long time now, I’ve seen the highest mountain of south island :-) And it’s a good opportunity as well :-) let’s go!
Lake Paringa > Coplan Track (46km cycle, 2h15) > Welcome flat hut (18km walk, 5h)
Yesterday I met Chris, a guy from south Africa. He is in NZ since three weeks and he is going to do the Coplan track. This walkway inside the Southern Also is on my way so I’ve decided to do it has well :-) why not?! It’s 18km to reach a hut and we have to come back by the same way. The track looks much easier than the Hump ridge one. This time, I will tie my shoes!

Hey, after to have slept under a bridge, next to a railway, now I’m gonna test the shit! Nice isn’t it? I don’t know yet but today I’m going to met somebody I know :-) An artist! Crazy! But let’s start from the beginning…
Around Wanaka > kids bush (42km, 3h30)
I’ve got a nice day today, it’s just a bit too windy… But nice. I’ve quit Wanaka lake and I’m now cycling along the lake Hawea. There is many lakes in this area, I Like that :-) But since this morning I’ve got a strange noise on my bike. I changed my chain but too late. The old one is already too long and the new one doesn’t match with my used cassette and chainrings… So I put back the old chain and I will continue like this as far as possible. I will have to change everything soon maybe or in Auckland if I pay really attention. I will!
