Today I’m going to visit the city, not in detail, but a tour here and there to discover the atmosphere. The weather is perfect and I hope it will stay like this!

Gisborne, visit around and fireworks
Today, I take one day to visit Gisborne. The weather is nice and warm. It a good occasion for a visit… by bike sure, always :-) Tonight we will have a party on the beach with everybody. Guy Fawkes Night is an old English event celebrated each year on the evening of November 5th with bonfires, fireworks and family gatherings.
Ruatōria, visit around
Today it’s Monday but anybody is going to work or school Maila proposed to visit around Tikitiki. I’ve been there already but I didn’t take the time having a look.

Today I’m coming back to Ruatoria in Maila’s family. The weather is perfect to take some good pictures of the carvings :-)

Hey! Today is the day to reach the highest non volcanic mountain of the north island. I finally decided to go by bike because John, a Maila ‘s friend, told me that it was possible to ride there. It’s a long trip to arrive up there because the road is going slightly up.

Today I’m going to plan my trip to the mount Hikurangi for tomorrow. I’m going to start one night in the hut :-) . Maila will bring me to the bottom before her work. She also recommend to visit the forest next to the city where we have a beautiful view from the top. So, that’s my plan for today :-)
Taupō, last day
Today has every the weather is grey grey grey but there is only a few little showers so I can do the last visit around Taupō.
