Upper Mongogarie, water supply system, fourth try

DSCF4206

Today is the third day we are working on that pump water system. We are going to try to put a buffer water tank between the pumps and see what’s happen. We test, build, test again, modify. It’s not working yet but it’s very interesting. As I said yesterday, we sorted all the pipe connections and it’s a pleasure to go and chose what we want or need.

Upper Mongogarie, water supply system, third try

Hello, today is a new day and we are gonna find the bloody solution for the water system. After “pimp my ride”, now it’s “Pump my water” hmmm sorry…  I’m going to figure it out how to build the “deck”, the system to put the green pump in the middle of the lake because actually we are limited by the length of the electric cable and of course we can put the plug in the water otherwise plouf, ksssssiii, boom! And Vilma came back this morning! She is now varnishing the wood floor of the first Veranda…

Since this morning we try to find the best solution but it’s not done yet. We are definitively approaching the ultimate solution. This time it’s serious stuff. Upper Mongogarie, cleaning

DSCF4125

I took the picture too late but it’s still a mess (bordel) so it’s ok haha :-) The wood actually standing on the light grey container was on the floor and there was dozen of “swimming pool tiles” (carrelage de piscine). I’ll take a picture when everything will be clean and tidy and you will see the HUGE difference. We are the “Cleaners” : three backpackers, one goal for a wonderful result! haha ;-)

Upper Mongogarie, early morning

DSCF4122

Since monday we decided with Vilma and Jamie to work earlier. It’s very hot during the day now and we try to avoid (eviter) the sun as much as possible. On Monday we started working at 9am. Then, Tuesday we started 8am and since Wednesdaywe start at 7am. We catch the sunrise every day and we can enjoy fresh mornings, work until 11am or a bit more. Then we make a long lunch-break until 4 or 5pm and we work until 6:30pm. It’s working well :-)
