Yesterday evening, the rain started and without any doubt it rained during the night as well. So this morning is misty, fresh and nice. I’m going to continued working on the tower today but if it’s too wet I’ll wait and find something else to do.
Simply cycling around
Today we continued organised things around. The morning was really fast. This afternoon, I’m trying to repair the vacuum. It was hard to find the screw and open it. And of course there was one screw different than the others with a star head shape precisely to prohibit people to open and repair it, pff… shitty world… Anyway, I just broke the last bit where the special screw was. This vacuum doesn’t really suck so I can try everything.
Today, Monday, come back to work. We worked with Jamie here and there, no particular project, just cleaning around. We start putting things a bit everywhere ourselves. Some spade (pelle) here, a screwdriver (tourne vis) on the ground, a tape measure (metre) on the roof :-) We need to keep this place tidy. I’ve also started testing all the electric tools because some of them are not working or just ready to explode, this is not really safe… We keep the best one and the others : rubbish! Keith buy every single thing in auction or on ebay. The quality, he doesn’t really care apparently. When he could buy one thing with a good quality he prefer ten of bad quality. End then they want to dig a huge hole and buried all the rubbish, ecologic isn’t it? Yes I’m angry today.
Today we are finishing the preparation. Some piece of wood need a special shape to fit inside the cage. It’s long to carve them but then the next step will be certainly faster. No more picture today. We came back to the house to do different short tasks.
Tomorrow we are going to visit Byron bay and Vilma will stay there because her adventure here is finished. See ya!
Today we work again on the water system. It’s working already but we optimised it. The other tank was not really stable and not protected. Keith and Sue bought those big tanks which used to serve for transporting tomato sauce or whatever. Strange… They certainly bought this in auctions (encheres) and they have 10 like these ones.
Today, we did some landscaping. We dug the ground to continue covering the pipe water system. Then I wanted to clean this area because Sue keeps some plant here but we couldn’t really see what kind of plant was there. I dug around and flatten the ground. Then I took some bricks to make a kind of shelve. It’s much better now :-) I couldn’t move the biggest banana tree (I’m not sure if it’s one) because the roots are actually into the ground…
