Yes, I’m still in Ruatōria having a good time with Maila, Caila and Ramaï. This afternoon is warm and it’s nice to start outside in the garden doing nothing special :-)

Today it’s Monday but anybody is going to work or school Maila proposed to visit around Tikitiki. I’ve been there already but I didn’t take the time having a look.

Today, I’m inviting by John to learn how carving in a bone. He is doing that since 25 years and some people from England approached him and bought 4 pieces to put them in a museum in London :-)

Today I’m coming back to Ruatoria in Maila’s family. The weather is perfect to take some good pictures of the carvings :-)

Hey! Today is the day to reach the highest non volcanic mountain of the north island. I finally decided to go by bike because John, a Maila ‘s friend, told me that it was possible to ride there. It’s a long trip to arrive up there because the road is going slightly up.

This morning I should be ready to go to Hikurangi mountain but the wind and the clouds are coming and it’s not a good idea to be up there alone with this kind of weather. So today, I’m repairing the bikes of Ramiro and Caila because it’s a long time they didn’t see oil :-) I hope I could go tomorrow.

Today I’m going to plan my trip to the mount Hikurangi for tomorrow. I’m going to start one night in the hut :-) . Maila will bring me to the bottom before her work. She also recommend to visit the forest next to the city where we have a beautiful view from the top. So, that’s my plan for today :-)
