Papa Aroha > Port Jackson (53km, 4h)
Today should be the most difficult part to join the top. I will pass through every bay but between each of them there is hills. I hope the weather will be kind with me because the wind seams still there…
Thames > Papa Aroha (73km, 5h)
Today my plan is to reach Papa Aroha where I will stay 2 nights. It’s a little village with nothing special there but the camp is less expensive :-).
Pinnacles hut > Thames (3h by walk + 22km, 1h)
Hey! my first time in a bed was good but my tent is cool :-). It’s 7am, I wake up and I’m hungry! I take all my stuff quickly and discretely to not wake up the others… Today I’m going to come back to Thames. I will have the afternoon to find an internet point :-).
Kauaeranga Valley > Pinnacles lookout
Today I will have a good trek in the mountains of Coromandel peninsula. The Pinnacles’ highest point reach 759m and by good weather we can see both sides of the peninsula! Cool!
Thames, visit of the city > Kauaeranga Valley (15km, 1h20)
This city looks good, there is many colonial buildings as houses, restaurants and hotels. The main road, Pollen street, pass through all along the city. All the shops are there so it’s really hard to be lost.
