Papatea Bay > East Cape (81km, 4h55)
Today, I should reach another end point of New Zealand, the East cape! There is a light house (normal) and I hope I could go next to it like Cape Reinga :-)
Opape > Papatea Bay (87km, 5h05)
Today the weather is better for a cyclist like me :-) so I’m continuing turning around New Zealand and Gisborne region precisely. There is no mobile coverage here and it’s better for me. Maybe I will arrive to disconnect myself this time :-) maybe…
Opape, rainy day off
That’s not a surprise, the rain is come back and that’s sure I won’t go anywhere today… this picture doesn’t represent the reality because I took it when the storm gone. I wanted to take a picture when it was rainy (to remember that wonderful moment) but I had forgotten my battery in my tent and it’s was so a long way (50m) to come back and pick it up.
Ohope > Opape (75km, 4h10)
Today I’m going to Opotiki, the last town where I could choose riding through the gorge or all around the east of the north island. My choice is already done but I will have a look the the gorge if it’s not so far.
Ohope, Whakatane, sunny day off
This picture is perfect to represent these two little town. There is color everywhere, many flowers and it’s sunny today! That’s genial! But, I don’t know, I have a strange feeling today. I feel alone and a bit sad.
Rotorua > Ohope (97km, 4h35)
That’s the longest travel I’ve done until now and I made another speed record as well! 75,8 km/h!! But always in safety, without any car or truck around, sure! I’m not crazy.
