Today is getting nicer. The weather is not to bad and I know I will find a free campsite in Featherston. And I’m faster than I expected. We are 29th so I will certainly have one day off in the camp next to the lake. Nice :-)
Simply cycling around
And that’s it, this is the end of Napier where I could never imagine have a good time like that. I met so many nice people and we were really like a big team. I really enjoy those 6 weeks here but today I leave. It’s difficult but I hope we will see each other again in south island. Good buy everybody! I miss you all already…

One of the best!
Today I should arrive to Napier where I will stay view days and at least take a shower haha :-) There is different things to visit here and if I’m lucky I could work as well :-) Here we go! There is vineyards everywhere around Napier. French catholics missioners have planted the first vineyards in 1851 and import Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Cabernet, Merlot and others. Hawke’s bay is the region for Nicolas Gregoire :-)
Today is one of the most difficult day. It’s cold, rainy, hill and long and long. There nothing special here. Only nature, roads, fields. Nothing to visit so I don’t want to spend so much time. At the beginning I wanted to take 4 days to join Napier but 3 could be possible if I push myself. I’ve rode 20 km onto the flat and this hill separates me to Waiora, the next town. I know already because the guy from the shop where I stopped yesterday told me everything about the road.
