Mavora lakes > Te Anau (81km, 4h15)

This night was cold, very cold. I was limit limit in my sleeping bag and I can feel the with the winter coming! I opened my tent this morning and : What a sky! So blue! My tent is covering by a thin layer of ice and I can’t find a way for reheat my fingers. Every two minutes I have to stop packing my stuff and make a break front of the sun because my hands are so cold!

Queenstown > Mavora Lakes (60km, 4h20)

Hey, finally after one week spend in Queenstown I’ve catch the steamer boat toward Walter Peak. From there I’m going to cycle through the valley until Mavora Lakes. I’m going to test also my new camera :-) I bought a Gopro camera to make different movie style. It’s possible to attach it in many different place and it works even until 60 metres under the see! Cool!

Queenstown > Glenorchy (44km, 3h30)

Fouaaah… I had a really good quiet night on the private beach :-) And the day starts with the sun, the water’s color is so clear! Looks so pure! Early this morning, it’s was raining and I think I won’t catch the boat today because I need one day to reach Mavora lakes and another one for The Anau. Between those points I will be surrounded only by mountains. So… I don’t know… It’s already 10am…

Clyde > Arrowtown > Lake Hayes (82km, 5h05)

Et c’est parti! After 5 days of work I’m back onto the road with motivation! I’m heading west toward Queenstown where I’m going to catch a steam boat. On my way I want to pass through Arrowtown and ride off road as often as possible. I’m gonna try my new saddle “Brooks B17 select”. I feel already better on that one than onto the original, it’s great, let’s go :-)
