Today is still sunny and It’s a pleasure. Careful, there is many pictures because every places were wonderful so it was difficult to limit the picture’s number. Now, I have more work to do :-)

St Arnaud > Rainbow track hut (67km, 5h30, 1068m)
Today we are going on the Rainbow track. It’s a track of 120km which pass by the middle of south island toward Hammer Springs. We should do it in two days if the weather is nice with us. I’m just a bit worried about something… If it’s called “rainbow track” that means there is rain… Aïe…
Queen Charlotte track > Anakiwa (27km, 3h05)
Finally, we won’t go at the end of the track. At first, we took the road the change and enjoy another scenery. Then we came back by the same path as yesterday toward Anakiwa.
Wellington > Picton (by ferry) > Anakiwa (21km, 1h24)
Hey, it’s 7am and I’ve just arrived to the blue bridge ferry company. Today I’m going to south island where I’m gonna spend at least 5 months.
Wellington, mount Victoria at night
Today, I had two options : go to the cinema to the “The Hobbit” or go with Christian to admire the view from the Mount Victoria at night. That’s better to go outside :-) That’s nice but so windy here! The forecast said that it should have winds with 180km/h this night… I’m afroad about my tent. There is already 3 tent broken in the campsite…
Wellington, New year eve
We are still the 31th but not for a long time again :-) Around 11pm we plan to go all together on the harbour and see the fireworks but it’s really windy so it’s not sure that the city organize something. We will see.
Featherston, day off
At the beginning, I thought I could pass a good day here but now it’s windy, rainy and sunny in the same time. The rain come from the west and the sun heat the tent from the east. I can go outside but it’s so hot inside! Rah!
