Simply cycling around
Today, no more digging. I’m glad to do something else : painting :-) My first concrete piece is ready to use, I put the “table” back onto it. The heavy boards are ready to be covered with the harderner, the product that will protect the wood for the next few years. Ok let’s start.
Finally! This morning I finished digging the hole. Now it makes a nice big octagon shape just as the same as the four jacuzzis put together. But there was still something wrong, something I was worried about, something I wanted to fix but it takes time. But I have time! So, let’s go for it :-) Yes the “table” frame in the center sits actually on four brick which themselves sit on the sandy ground. When it will rain a lot, the bricks might move millimeters after millimeters and after a while, a year maybe, boom! Broken… My solution, the most natural one I think, is to use concrete and build a real strong basement. And I even got the machine to make it, but this concrete machine was stuck under a thick layer of strong and dry concrete. First step : unlock the machine from its prison. Second step : learn how to make concrete. Last step : work :-)
Hey, Jamie left the place yesterday and a new wwoofer is going to participate the the jacuzzis project, or not. Jamie you should be jealous…
Today I’m continuing alone the project we started with Jamie few days ago. I should be able to finish next week but jobs like this are always longer as we expect. And I’ve got the chicken cage to build plus create a system to provide water to seven big water tanks. Lot’s of work and one month left!
Ok, today it’s serious :-D. We have a plan and we are going to do a good job. I don’t have 100% of the solution but at least, until now, it should works. It’s the last day of Jamie! From tomorrow I’m gonna dig alone. I was the first guy on this session and I’m the last one as well. Jamie, enjoy Melbourne and maybe see you there one day, we never know :-)
Hey :-) This is looking nice even if the red colour is more purple than brown red. The next step if I don’t have to do something more important will be to paint the shape of each tools :-) Sue can garden well now :-)
We are Saturday today but I have too much motivation :-) I need to do something. Sue is coming this weekend or Monday so I would like to finish arranging the greenhouse before she comes back. And to do that I’ve got an ultimate thing to do : the tools board :-)
