Upper Mongogarie, fixing ‘my’ door + shelter upgrade

Hey, today I’m working on that door and it has a story. 5 French used to work in this house a month ago and one day, to play, they enclose one of them inside this room. Then this guy just smash the door and broke it… isn’t that silly? After that he had to repair the door of course. He put a new one but it was too long and to wide. He painted it like a pig and drop some paint on all the surface. And finally he didn’t put any handle because he work was crap. Where is the respect? Far away I think…

Upper Mongogarie, 5 jobs in one day

Today I’m multitask. As always, there is plenty of things to do and I really enjoy changing activities during the day. When it’s like this the day is so fast!

Upper Mongogarie, new room

Tonight we are going to sleep for the first time in the new property. We could even chose our room because we are not so many now. Sue and Keith used to have 11 wwoofers few weeks ago. Some was living here and the rest in Casino. It was certainly crazy.

Today, during we were working around the house, Jamie saw a kangaroo. It’s nit an adult but it is quietly eating around and fairly close to the house. It’s much better than in a zoo :-)

Freshwater, guinea pig cage, the ultimate test

Hey Zackari :-) Yes the same Zackari who write on this blog haha. It’s a very smart guinea pig. He can speak Japanese and English, use a computer, find my blog and write some comments. But when we come back to the house he is eating innocently some salad in his home brand new bamboo cage. There is a secret behind all of this story!

I’m very close to the end now. I finished building the interior. The future guinea pig will have a first floor to appreciate the view. It’s great isn’t it? ;-) And he can even read the newspaper, lucky him!

This cage is taking shape :-) The mesh is done and I must found a good trick for the door. The main target of this cage is : it has to be able to resist against the snakes and against guinea pig pee… That’s a thing I didn’t think about until now… I will certainly use some zip tie at the end to enhance the strength of the whole cage.
