Hey, it starts to resemble to a cage :-) The “job” is slow and needs patience but I’m sure the result we be nice with a natural looking. Yesterday, I came back to the Botanical garden to find some more bamboos. I bought the first set but I didn’t have enough. I didn’t cut any new one of course, I respect the park. I just find many on the ground and chose the best pieces. Now the cage got different colours from green to light brown. It’s still nice :-)

I’m working on a new project seen few days : a guinea pig cage :-) My initial plan was to make a cage like a big tube but I didn’t find the cheap material to make that. Marco didn’t trust me and I couldn’t show him that it was possible. Anyway, I found another material : bamboo! It’s light, it’s strong, it’s cheap, it’s perfect for a cage. I even use my survival book to learn how to make good and strong nodes. In a week maybe, this cage will be finished. At least I would like to finish it before I leave because I should do it soon, normally… see ya :-)

Smithfield, working one day… hmm night…

Hey ;-) it’s such a long time I didn’t touch this blog. Rah! I’m not serious… I’m still living with Martin and Yoko in Freshwater next to Cairns. We have fun and Martin make connection with all his contact and friends to find a job for me. Actually I have more work that I need but sometimes I would need more experience and skills to complete some of them. I’ve finished partly the website of Martin but I would like to make a mobile version has well. Anyway, we are cooking bread, pizza, crepes and have bicycle tour around. Few days ago we played badminton with Martin and Marco. It was fun! And too hot.
Finally yesterday night I’ve worked with Travis from 5pm to 0pm. It was a shooting inside a display house that people visit to get an idea before they build there own one. I was there to retouch on live the pictures that Travis took. This house is gigantic and so luxurious. I don’t envy this life but it’s interesting to see that fancy world. How people can buy this?!

Kingston, web 2.0 with Annette (768m, 2min)

This morning, I’m eating my breakfast at the same place as yesterday. It’s few metres away of the public toilets. Then, a woman came for cleaning it. OK, normal. Then, she saw me and politely say hello. “Good morning” :-) We discussed a bit and when I said I was web designer in Paris she said : “hey, maybe you could help me because I’m working on an it project with wiki and I don’t understand so much. She was saying that ironically but I answer “yes” why not, but no more than one day because I must travel also haha” Annette accepted and offered me one night and a meal against some wiki lessons. I have to learn that before because I just know few things about it :-)
