Okay, today, first of January I’m going to work. There is a sign, a sign that I need money and I’m going to work a lot this year :-)
Simply cycling around
Hey, painting was fast and I’m still continuing making those stairs and the garden area, one of them because Sue has planted vegetables in every corners and it’s nice. I’m going to build some very small part of wall but I can’t find the cement pack anymore. This is a mystery, it disappeared … I should be able to finish that before I leave!
This time, finally, I can definitely say that this project is done! What is the changes? The black colour! Yes Keith wanted Sue to paint them again because there was plenty of white bits everywhere. We moved them many times so of course the paint was damaged. Now they are smoothly black and they look like new :-) Fiou! From now, the word “jacuzzis” will remind me this place for ever ;-) and maybe also for whom followed this project from the beginning with always the same picture haha :-)
This morning, Puantas and Anton left the place. They continue their trip and maybe, MAYBE, I’ll see them again somewhere, we never know. So, I’ve finished this morning applying the hardener on the wood surrounding the jacuzzis. I wanted to do it sooner but it rained everyday a bit. This time I’m well prepared. I found those big pieces of roof. If the rain comes back I cover everything! bloody rain!
We’ve got a new mission today. This morning during Puantas was building shelves inside the new shelter, I worked with Anton too flatten (aplatir) the road down the entrance. The heaving rain always push down the soil and after a while you need a tank to access the the house. Then we finish that part and would like to keep the road as long as possible (at least until Christmas) so we are now digging a trench and building a wall to protect the path from the water.
Today is the day where I’m gonna know if I will have to restart from the beginning. I hope not! I’m not worried about the strength of the frame but more about the holes recapped by the previous guys.
After having filled the baths I’ve watched underneath and one of them is losing a lot of water. The other look quite good. I’ll repair it later. Before I must protect the wood with some hardener so it will resist better at the heavy rain we have here sometimes.
