Simply cycling around
Et c’est parti! After 5 days of work I’m back onto the road with motivation! I’m heading west toward Queenstown where I’m going to catch a steam boat. On my way I want to pass through Arrowtown and ride off road as often as possible. I’m gonna try my new saddle “Brooks B17 select”. I feel already better on that one than onto the original, it’s great, let’s go :-)
Brr! This night was colder than before. We approach the end of the work and I hope the temperature won’t drop off so fast because I have quite a few thing to visit in the south!
For the first time since one month it’s raining! In fact this region is really dry and I understand why now.

Let’s visit Catlins in three days with Charlotte, Mathieu and Myriam.
Dunedin! That’s a big city but nice. The weather is getting better and better everyday
Yesterday, we didn’t see any penguins but we still hope to see some around because it’s not the only place in the Catlins. We finally decided to pass the night in the Curio bay doc campsite. Aaah, we are certainly lucky because the sun is coming back this morning :-)
Here we go! It’s Friday but we have day off. The season is reaching the end and there is not enough work for everyday. Lindsey, a guy we are working with proposed to lend us his car, that’s a good opportunity to visit around. We decided to have a look in the Catlins, the south east coast. The reputation of this place is rain so it’s better (maybe) to do it by car even if I would prefer to ride it… We start the trip by a hilly road surrounded by a dry landscape.
