Simply cycling around
Hello, now with my new job I’ve got time every two days to do something else. I’m thinking about working in another cucumber farm with an opposite rhythm so I could work everyday. But now, today, this is holidays. John is going to Coffs Harbour today and I’m coming with him because I need to go to the bank. And this is a good opportunity to visit around. John knows many history so I’m learning Australia history :-) This is cool!
I’m lucky! With the small relations I’ve got around me here now I had the opportunity to find a job (somebody found it for me actually). And what is it? Cucumber picking :-) haha. So I’m gonna stay a bit longer here, until I will receive my phone… I could stay for ever tho.
Hello, I’m still trying to upgrade my website and I should have a bit more time now because as it says above, I don’t have anymore work and I’m gonna explain why now.
Since a month I used to work for the cucumber’s place in the same area of the blueberries farm because they belong to the same family. Everything was fine until the day I came back to work and nobody was there. Because I used to be the firt one each morning and the rain came, I started working. This was a mistake. Then I texted Paul when the job was done but he didn’t expect me to work. But he didn’t tell me to not work as well and the previous day we started a job that we did not finished so I had no reason to think this was a day off.
After this event Paul did not contact me anymore so the next day I came up to the farm and ask to the blueberry manager if I could work. They had something for me and they enjoy my job rapidly because, as every time, I was doing my best.
I’m not doing that often. Today I bought cheese! crazy hey? Yes it is because it’s expensive here : 7$ for that small bit…
Hello, today, I’m going to plant blue berries this time. There is apparently no more work for the cucumbers so I’m gonna to work here this week and maybe for the next month. Some other guys prepared the lines already and we must plant now.
Hey! it’s early morning today, about 6:30. We started yesterday to clean the cucumbers green houses because the crops arrived to their ends. We did two houses yesterday and we should largely finish the last one today.
Aaah, I’m proud of me today :-) I bought some fish for 1 or 2 dollars and made 3 meals with plenty of veges. I know from where you are, in your house with your kitchen it looks boring and well, ok. But I’m cooking on the ground with my pretty good kerosene cooker I recon. But that! it’s a bloody royal meal for me haha :-) And there is even Olives! Wouhouuu!
