Simply cycling around
The photo is really bad but it’s more for a souvenir. This is Newtown and there is always artist around. There is all kind of music each day, especially at this corner where so many people get out of the train station. I took a video but unfortunately it was just the end of their show… hahaa
Tonight we are going to see a nice show with Robin. I’ve seen some ads in the city few days ago and I realised it has been a long time since I’ve seen something like this. Many times we discussed with Robin about going to theatre but we did not do yet. Anyway, tonight is going to be a nice one!
Adrien, one of my roommate, and I are going to do whale watching today. The weather is really hot and we hope we will see some nice big whales jumping in the air and smiling to us, we never know. We came too early and the boat is not ready yet. We’ve got 30 minutes, so let have a look around.
Sydney “Neon Run” is an event organised each year or maybe more. It consist to run and dance! Not really my kind but this is interesting to watch. I was actually working on my computer this afternoon in the Royal Botanical Garden and when I decided to leave the place was surrounded by runners. I was with my bike so I did not suit the place well. The theme is : wear fluo color and neon lights, run around and dance.
Every year, on April 25th, Australia and New Zealand commemorate the landing of the Anzac at Gallipoli in 1915. And this unique day also offer the opportunity to play “Two Up” a gambling game. In Newtown, some pub participate to the event and Robin proposed me to have a look and be ready to loose 20$.
John proposed me one time to have a day trip to show me the country side around Woolgoolga. This time came and it’s today :-) We started by visiting the huge Costa farm named also as Berry Exchange. This is the biggest berry farm in the south hemisphere and it’s gonna be soon the biggest in the world because the company bought rescently more land to continue developing the business. Then we went to Grafton, where I have been already, to have a nice fish n’ chips. Finally we came back to Woolgoolga too close our loop. Let’s start the visit now :-)
