Sydney (Newtown), Going out with Robin

This evening, I’ve joined Robin in Newtown. We’ve been eating in a vegetarian restaurant where you pay whatever you want at the end. There is a big box next to the entrance of the restaurant and people choose the price they want to pay. The food is very good and the place is always full. The first time we tried, it’s was already too late. They sold out all the food they had.
After the restaurant I’m following Robin in Enmore to have a dessert in a famous place : Cow and Moon. This artisan gelato is very well known for its ice delicious ice cream. It’s around 8:30pm, most of the restaurants are already close but this one remains.

Summer is coming soon! Everywhere in the city these nice trees are showing us their best colors. Sydney is purple :-)

Well, I’m conscious this “thing” does not look inviting but it’s really nice, and I would say, it was! As usual I’m cooking with a free mind, get out the stuff I’ve got in the fridge and make something up. There is a base of rice on the bottom and mainly onion, salad and tofu. Simple :-)

Sydney, Whale watching

Adrien, one of my roommate, and I are going to do whale watching today. The weather is really hot and we hope we will see some nice big whales jumping in the air and smiling to us, we never know. We came too early and the boat is not ready yet. We’ve got 30 minutes, so let have a look around.

Sydney, Neon Run

Sydney “Neon Run” is an event organised each year or maybe more. It consist to run and dance! Not really my kind but this is interesting to watch. I was actually working on my computer this afternoon in the Royal Botanical Garden and when I decided to leave the place was surrounded by runners. I was with my bike so I did not suit the place well. The theme is : wear fluo color and neon lights, run around and dance.

Today, I’m going to cycle towards Watson bay, a place situated at the end of a peninsula. The weather is perfect for a ride so let’s do it!

Sydney (Darlinghurst) > North Sydney, return (23km, 1h15)

I’ve got some stuff to buy to fix my bike and I couldn’t find anything online. Finally I discover a shop in North Sydney which has everything I need. The road is surprisingly “green” as I thought I would cycle only along main roads surrounded by noise cars and buildings. There is a lot a cycle path crossing parks, this is really enjoyable.
