Kuala Lumpur, Menara KL visit

Third point of view of the Petronas towers (it might be the last one for me because I get a bit tired of taking the same thing since 3 days). Tonight we got to the Menara Tower but this view is not free of charge… 52Ringgit to get to the first floor behind windows or 104Ringgit to reach the rooftop. Seriously?! That’s a bit super expensive for just a view on a concrete jungle… Naturally the top floor must be very nice but well… That’s out of our budget…

Melaka, last night

For the last night in Malacca we decided to visit one more time Jonker Street, the famous market that’s opened every friday, Saturday and Sunday night. As usual, the street is packed with tourists from all over the world. The clever thing here is that they alternate shops and food stand so there is always something to buy. Personally, I don’t need anything as I’m carrying enough stuff already.

Melaka, bicycle tour

Today we didn’t do much things apart repairing our bicycles, bags, clothes. In that backpacker, I met Shen from California and Dang from Philippines. Both of them are working at the hostel. Shen is on his way to become a freelance developer. We have lots of things to exchange :-) Later tonight, we did a bicycle tour and went to… that mosk… again. I’ve been there 3 times now!

Singapore, East Coast to North Singapore, Thai Temple

Second day spent with the Thai cyclists. During their trip they rely a lot on temples. Thailand has a lot of them apparently. They provide free food and accommodation for anyone. Singapore has its lot of temples too. Tonight we will sleep in one of them. This is going to be my first time. This afternoon the temple surroundings were occupied by huge tents and other installations. Hundreds of Chineses were here for the celebration. Again, for the first time I’m enjoying a festival like this one. Lots of discoveries today :-)
