Hey, this is THE day. After a lot of hesitations, a lot of research on google maps and different blogs I have chosen the east coast. It was my original plan until I met Martin in Cairns who gave me another idea. I’ve never thought about going west and suddenly I got completely mixed in my mind. No one fault, I’d love to do both but I’ve got not enough time. It’s 10am and I’m finally ready to cycle again. But before we need pictures and souvenir of this great year (almost) in Sydney. For the first time Robin is front of the camera, and bunny as usual ;-)

Moving from Darlinghurst to Newtown for the last few days in Sydney

I am ready! This is really exciting to pack all my gear again. And the best surprise, it still fits :-) I’ve got my final decoration, my splendid pullover for the bike and the awesome “hippie ring” for the trailer. The whole thing is very silent now as I don’t have a noisy chain anymore. And I took off the mud guard of my trailer because it used to vibrate all the time. This is it! all my house is here :-)

Innisfail, trip with Martin and Josh, day3 (last day)

I’ve started this last day in the hospital. oh, well, I did not slept there. Martin and Josh dropped me off. I prefer to make sure my wounds are under control. But yesterday night, Paul did a very good job. The nurse cleaned everything again and the doctor came to see if I needed any stitches (point de souture). He had a quick look and said :  ” it looks perfect to me”. Hey, that’s it? ok, that’s cool :-) Just that I had to pay 250$, gloups! At least, I know all is good, this is the most important.
