Riverton, huuuge rainbow !

I’m finally still with Sally and Dene :-) We have a good time and I found the way to give them back something. I’m teaching informatics tips and tricks to Dene. How to do this? How to do that? He ask me a question and I’m trying to answer :-) Sally is a great cooker. She made everything by herself. That’s another level here Fiou! I enjoyed :-) They’ve got 2 dogs and one cat and each of them understand everything. I’m so surprised. Sally just talk normally and the dog or even the cat act. Respect :-) Today we enjoy the sky together!

Riverton, skype session

Sometimes like tonight, we can meet each other by Skype. It’s rare but it’s nice :-) But this time the screen was to small to contain everybody! Haha. It was a pleasure :-)

Hard trip, rain, cold, wind… but nice people.

Monkey island > Riverton (31km, 2h)

Hey, today is finally sunny and I’m one more time lucky :-) I’m going toward Riverton and I’ve got plenty of time because it’s not too far. I start the day by visiting Colac bay, a nice place where the Simpsons and and… Rah! I’ve forgotten their name. Anyway, they live together in a bus! I didn’t know that.

Tuatapere > Monkey island (25km, 1h30)

Today, I’m ready to continue my trip toward Riverton. I could arrived today because it’s not so far finally but I want to stop in that free campsite front of Monkey island. And it’s raining so I hope the weather will be better tomorrow.

Tatuapere, day off

OK, now I know why it was painful yesterday and the second day… This day, I’m doing nothing, just writing my blog, eating, watch a movie. Some guy put Forest Gump tonight and it was nice to see that movie again :-)

Port Craig hut > Hump Ridge Track > Tatuapere (17km walk, 5h + 24km cycle, 2h)

During all the day, I’ve felt a hard pain on my feet. I’ve never walk like this before and without training, 3 days it’s long! I’ m going to have one day off in Tatuapere to get more energy.
I’ve met Sally again today. She is walking so fast, even her dog! When I told her I was going to pass Riverton, she gave me here address in case they were here when I will reach the city. It’s nice :-) I don’t know when I will be there but it could be a nice experience. We never know :-)
