Phetkasem road > Krabi area (52km, 3h)

Today we are going to reach Krabi and visit a temple positioned onto the summit of a rock. The temple is called “Tiger Cave temple”. The name comes from the tiger paw prints that a monk found here. Actually, we never seen that cave… Only the summit and the sunset. After that, we kept cycling towards Ao Nang beach which is the place from where we can visit different islands around. My 10$ budget will be hardly respected.

First full day cycling in Thailand :-) The first big place with lots of activities to do and lots of things to see will be Krabi. For now we did not expect to spend too much money. We could have crossed the border by the road but it’s nice to take travel by sea sometimes. Once in Thailand, an hour and twenty minutes later, we had to cycle to the next town to get organised with money and phone number plus internet. We found easily the bank and then a shopping mall for the SIM card. Finally, we’ve just stayed in that same shopping mall and worked on our website until dark. Then we cycled few kilometres and stopped in a park where we spent our night.

As I mentioned yesterday evening, today we are going to visit the “Seven Wells” (for seven natural pools) and something we did not plan: the “Seven Wells peak”. I must say, signs panel in this area are pretty bad. They confuse more than they inform us. And to make sure we are confuse, people told us wrong timing (about the walk) and nothing is in english. Fortunately, with all these things not in our favour, we did not get lost. Are we good? No, we simply kept going straight up until we ended to the top of Langkawi island and got nearly a 360 degrees view for free!
