Simply cycling around
The west coast is like this : one day rain, one day sun, one day rain… But now, it’s a second day with sun! So I will have 2 days of rain later maybe… I will see. I’m going to start that day with 3 big hills to reach Franz Josef on the other side of that. Then it should be quite flat for the rest of the day.
It’s a wonderful day today and I can’t stay more inside. I will finish to update my blog later because now I want to visit two places : The glacier and lake Mathewson from where we are able to see Aoraki/Mt Cook. It s a long time now, I’ve seen the highest mountain of south island :-) And it’s a good opportunity as well :-) let’s go!
I didn’t take any pictures today because it was raining all the day. That’s the pictures of tomorrow which present the backpack. Tomorrow is sunny! I spent all my day front of the screen. I had to pay for internet (5$ > 24h). So, when I pay, I use it! And I went to bed at 4am because I would like to update all my posts until today before I leave Fox glacier. At least, I will try. So that’s the backpacker where I’m staying now. It’s a lovely place :-)
Hey, yesterday I wanted to take a picture of the hot pools but the battery of my Gopro was empty just at the wrong time. This battery is so short! Maybe 40 minutes. Anyway, today, I’m going to walk down the same 18km and reach Fox glacier which is 26 km away from the star of the Coplan track.
Yesterday I met Chris, a guy from south Africa. He is in NZ since three weeks and he is going to do the Coplan track. This walkway inside the Southern Also is on my way so I’ve decided to do it has well :-) why not?! It’s 18km to reach a hut and we have to come back by the same way. The track looks much easier than the Hump ridge one. This time, I will tie my shoes!
Rah! This guy I met yesterday onto the knights point lookout was right. Since 6am it’s raining and it should continue all the day… Fortunately I’ve god some book to read because my battery’s tablet is almost empty.
