Today is Chrismas time and we are going to have a great lunch prepared by Sue and some other person. It’s a team work :-) Yesterday was salmon with veges and potatoes. Today is turkey, duck, ham and veges. Miam!

Cairns, Botanical garden, Marco’s concert
Come back to Cairns Botanical Garden to watch, this time, Marco play cello in a concert! The first three guys are one teacher, one guy from Canberra (if I understood correctly). Apparently he plays for the best Orchestra in Australia, something like this. The last guy with the orange short is a teacher as well. Then behind all of them are students and we can see easily that they are not come from the same school because they don’t wear the same colours.
Freshwater, Down from the bush camp site + Botanical Garden market
Today we came down from the bush campsite where we had a good quite night and this afternoon I’m gonna visit the Botanical Garden Market. It’s the end of Cairns Festival and like every year this Market is open to any body who want to have a good time.
Cairns, Carnival
As I said, the day is not finished and after Baron george we are now going to Cairns Carnival. It the beggining of tow weeks of animations in the city. It’s a long time now I’ve seen an event like this. The last one was in Romilly sur seine (France).
Smithfield, watching down hill
Sunday afternoon, we came back to smithfield again because today there is a downhill event. I’m not sure but I think it’s organisated by a mountain bike club and anybody with can participate. They provide lifts to reach thetop of the track. This is cool but the level is too high for me so wathching is enough.
Freshwater, Motorbike competition
Today, Sunday, Martin proposed to have a look to a “motor park” where a kind of competition is running. Marco would prefer to ride but it’s not for today :-)
Cairns, meeting Josh, Martin, Yoko and Marco
Hey, yesterday night I’ve found a good place to set my tent. It was on an edge of a sports field at the end if the Esplanade cycleway. I woke up early to make sure nobody can see me and I’m now having a good breakfast front if this nice sunrise :-)
