Aaah finally! Finally an easy day! The day started with rain but I enjoyed a long down hill. I didn’t expect that last hill coming but apart that the ride was much easier than the past two weeks. I needed that, my legs needed that :-) I’ve ended sleeping in a valley where the weather we’re more pleasant.

That’s where I’ve slept last night, suspended underneath that wood and bamboo shed.
Early this morning, I was still asleep when someone woke me up roughly by knocking on my hammock. That was the same guy from last night who told me, well I guess, to leave soon. I don’t know why but anyway, I was not going to stay here forever so I woke up at 5:40am.
Just have to pack these and I’m ready to go!
I’ve done maybe 10 minutes down hill when it’s started raining heavily.
That’s bad luck! The road is very slipery, I don’t want to risk anything.
Let’s take a break and cook some hot breakfast then.
After about an hour, the rain stopped and I could keep on going.
This mount over there is very spiky!
Along the way, I’ve decided to take my GoPro out for once. I always forget it or I’m lazy to use it. This time I will do a time lapse capturing for big clouds moving slowly in the valley.
That’s the result :-)
Very nice contrast between the green valley and the rocky spike front of me.
As I’m on my way down, I can observe this cold looking landscape. It’s not that cold actually, just fresh, perfect.
I’m down to the valley!
Wow! A nearly flat road. I cannot believe it haha.
I’ve just bought some energy. Some nice short and creamy banana. I don’t see them very often so when I do I buy a bunch for the day and breakfast tomorrow.
Valley view.
Houuu, I hope this road is going through and will stay flat. I don’t have much energy left to go uphill today.
View across the river.
Same but different ;-)
And that’s it for today. I had to tackle that unexpected hill I talked about in the introduction but that was the only challenge of the day. When I was there, going slow, a bus overtook me and a guy really woke me up. He was smashing his end against the bus shouting out me “go, go go! You can do it!” I was concentrated and really wondered what was happening. But that’s is man :-)
I finished the day on a flat road and found this nice shelter for the night. I hope there won’t be any storm because I don’t want to set up the roof. Good night!
Belles images verdoyantes. Remarque avec tout ce qu’il pleut c’est normal !
I like those mountains, very interesting landscape.
I hope you had a good sleep without anybody sitting 1m away from your hammock.
