Ok I’m ready to move even if I have to many food to carry… Today it’s a travel of 39km and I woke up at 7am to have the time to visit some place no the afternoon.

The weather is perfect, the road is quite, this day is really nice:-)

Fiou! This slope is so perfect to make the speed record of the day. Go! The head in the handlebar, the eyes toward the white line to get the good direction and the ears focused on rear to be ready if a car comes. 35…40…47…55…61…66… Fzzzz! Something dropped off the ground… It’s… my camera! Aie! Ok all is ok, it’s not broke and my record is…67.8km! Cool:-).

Finally I arriving to my destination and I have a big slope to going down. Beautiful landscape. My camp is certainly no the left side of the beach.

Matauri bay is a very little village. There is something like 30 houses. The people in new-zealand like to personalise their letter box.

Just front of the see :-) yes!

Rah! Very crowded here:-)

I even have the pleasure to play with a dog during my lunch. But this dog is to0 fast! I don’t have any time to eat because it drop the branch front of me every 5 second haha :-)

During I was playing with the dog, a man came suddenly behind me with a question : “hey, do you want a piece of fish?” (what a question)me : “Hmm, yes why not :-)”
The fisherman give directly the piece of fish and say : “it’s a snapper, it’s fresh. I have take it this afternoon.
- Me : “ho, thank you very much!”
- The man : “Do you know how to cook it?”
- Me : “hooo yes no problem :-)”.
Ouah this guy is cool! But I have to problems now : I have already too much food but I can’t refuse this present :-) and there is a dog front of me… Run! haha.

It’s much better in a box and ready for tonight. A good free and fresh meal:-).

The place is quite clean and beautiful, perfect!

I’ve heard many time the story about this place but I didn’t remember it was here. Interesting visit :-)

This place is really beautiful:-)

That’s the “Rainbow Warrior Memorial”.

On the left side of the picture, in the ocean, between the little islands, here sank the rainbow warrior in 1990, the greenpeace’s boat.

We are in winter and I could almost have a swim but before, a little nap is perfect :-)

I don’t know what is it but this flower is lovely.

Fiou!

The end part of the beach is totaly covered of there things! It’s crunchy under the feet.

No no, it’s too cold for me… Something like 18degres I think. Perfect for Pierre:-).

I’m getting very well organise. All my stuff has a right place now.
