Today we have been cycling on the two opposite roads. We started the day with very remote path and finished in along the highway (using the bicycle lane). A part that, not anything special. We did not visit any particular places (that will be for tomorrow :-). This evening we were stopped by the river. In fact, tomorrow morning we will catch a ferry to cross the Chao Phraya River.
Map.
Back to this morning, we are now ready to leave Tongkiat and his wife’s restaurant but before that some souvenir pictures :-)
Another one front of their restaurant.
Last one :-) Thank you very much for this unexpected adventure :-)
We have done few kilometres only on a small road before switching to this one.
We are cycling in the middle of fields, it’s nice.
The road became more and more narrow until now where it’s look more like a walking path. It’s very bumpy too.
Let’s have a break first.
Maybe we could cross this dry river bed.
If I could walk through with my bike, Pita’s one must be easier.
Few more steps and we will be fine. The path on the other side of the river is much wider and smoother. It will be easier.
Where should we go now?
Left, that’s the way.
I wish I could take a closer shot of these white birds…
… but as soon as you move one ear they fly out! Grrr…
Result…
We left the gravel road, joined the sealed one and have a break.
Apparently, we are in an area where selling flowers and plants in general is famous. So many similar shops along the road.
River crossing, Same problem here with the Indonesian plants taking over the space.
We have stopped in a bicycle rest area where they offered fresh water and some sweet panda. The packaging is interesting because the two white lollies inside complete the coloration of the printed panda of the transparent packaging. Simple and clever idea :-)
The lunch was good and we are now ready to go to find a quiet place where to have our 4 hours rest.
Some more pictures with the staff.
This morning we took one of the most remote road of Thailand and tonight we do the complete opposite. We are riding along the highway but we have a brand new line dedicated to us. That’s a change. See you tomorrow.
Sympa aussi la campagne !! J’ai pas tout compris pour le panda, mais bon … ça a l’air malin !!
How was the Japanese lunch made by Thai chef?
