When I set up my camp yesterday night under this construction I thought: “I must remember to take a picture from above tomorrow morning. I might be nice”. So that’s why this :-) And then I thought: “An animated gif would look even better”. The gopro helped because If I used the camera, I would have only 10 seconds to run down a flimsy ladder, jumped in the hammock and… Well, it would have been too short as you imagine. So I’ve used the GoPro and its wifi connection paired with the phone. Things become a lot easier then :-)

That’s the Gif I talked about earlier :-) I missed one or two images on the “left direction swing” but it looks good enough for now. I’m proud of this idea :-) I must practice more this technique which I think is fun. I should do all my pictures like this! Well, no… I would still be editing the pictures of New Zealand if I had done that since day one haha. I just need to find THE one that works well. A simple movement that makes sense and brings the picture to life exactly like this one.

Same picture taken with the camera. The quality is a lot better but I couldn’t have achieved what I wanted to without the GoPro this morning.
Panoramic view! So nice! Well, that’s just the road, nothing exceptional, calm down.
I like this spot but I think should move now. Ok, let’s pack (again).
Morning rides are always a pleasure. Low traffic, long shadows, smooth lights, very nice.
A little while later, I arrived front of the next Amazon Cafe. This one has a little garden on its side. Nature, is the main and powerful concept of these Cafés. A petrol station is not the best place where you want to spend your time right? But what they done is very nice. Each Amazon café is always surrounded by trees, flowers, fountains, fake colourful parrots. You enter and straight away you are somewhere else. Very well done.
Time runs too fast and that’s lunch time already. I’ve found a local restaurant where they serve a decent sized plate for a decent price of 30baht (0.75€, $1.17AUD). I’ll come back for sure! This dish is a fried rice (Khaw pat or Khaw pad). I never know if they say ‘T’ or ‘D’ at the end.
Back to work! I’m still working on the usability of my website for now but soon I will start writing more. I don’t find the inspiration these days. I’m more in a technical mood so I code :-)
And that’s it for today. Actually, just around 5pm when I looked up above my screen, thinking about living now or very soon, rain started straight away… First I waited a bit more but it keeps raining. Finally, I decided to stay here tonight. At the back of this petrol station, behind the café, there is big area with trees. It’s not sensational but that will do for tonight. Cheers!
I love the swinging ! I can feel the relax time and air. :-)
