Siem Reap, guesthouse visit

Today I’m showing a more detailed tour of the Dengba Guesthouse where I’ve been staying since the end of June (2016).  It’s not the most interesting place to see but because I’ve been here a certain time I want to remember. Anyway, let’s start.

The Dengba Guesthouse is situated along the Siem Reap River on the southern part of the city.

The bamboos are covering most of the main door which looks great but many people (including myself) miss the entrance.

The sign is not really obvious too.

dscf3875

As soon as you step in, you are nearly in a jungle. It’s nice.

On the left hand side, the kitchen.

dscf3877

The pool table.

dscf3878

Kitchen again.

dscf3879

The kitchen has enough of everything. The wok is very useful.

View across the pool table towards the building.

dscf3881

I could fit my bike and trailer in a corner, half hidden behind the plants.

dscf3882

I can barely see it.

dscf3883

Last view of the pool table and kitchen before we go inside.

Take of your choose first :-)

dscf3885

The reception looks good but it’s not used by the manager.

dscf3886

Hey :-)

dscf3888

Most of the walls are decorated inside.

dscf3889

The dorm rooms are on the ground floor.

dscf3890

There is 4 beds in the first dorm and 3 in this one. It’s a tiny dorm though.

dscf3891

The bathroom is not fancy but it’s good enough.

dscf3892

My office space :-)

Apparently I’m going to be alone tonight as it has been quiet this week. No noisy Chinese yes!

That’s it for the Dengba Guesthouse visit.
