Hey, we just arrived in Byron Bay :-) This is the second time in 6 weeks that I come back along the ocean and it’s nice. Vilma found her backpacker and join us again. Sue and Keith continued their travel towards Brisbane. We have two days to enjoy here :-)
The city centre.
The main street towards the sea.
Ah cool their is a market with some Hippies :-)
Heuuu… Abrakebabra the magic kebab, okay lol.
Byron art ;-)
And the beach, huge!
Let’s have a look closer.
We are looking for THE spot. The place where we are going to sleep tonight with Jamie. Backpackers are too expensive. Adventure!
We’ve reached a kind of island, peninsula. Depends if it’s low or high tide.
The view is nice from the top.
A look towards Byron.
Wide saturated panoramic.
We’ve spent the afternoon walking, visiting around. Byron is quite small and less hippie than I expected. Nimbin is definitively THE hippie town. And we found our spot for tonight. Not on the beach because we don’t know the height of the tide so it’s not the best idea to try. We went further out of the city center and found a nice quiet place on the grass. We are now close to the market but it’s going too close soon so we are going to move soon as well. good night.
