Fiou! This slope is so perfect to make the speed record of the day. Go! The head in the handlebar, the eyes toward the white line to get the good direction and the ears focused on rear to be ready if a car comes. 35…40…47…55…61…66… Fzzzz! Something dropped off the ground… It’s… my camera! Aie! Ok all is ok, it’s not broke and my record is…67.8km! Cool:-).

Matauri bay is a very little village. There is something like 30 houses. The people in new-zealand like to personalise their letter box.

During I was playing with the dog, a man came suddenly behind me with a question : “hey, do you want a piece of fish?” (what a question)me : “Hmm, yes why not :-)”
The fisherman give directly the piece of fish and say : “it’s a snapper, it’s fresh. I have take it this afternoon.

  • Me : “ho, thank you very much!”
  • The man : “Do you know how to cook it?”
  • Me : “hooo yes no problem :-)”.

Ouah this guy is cool! But I have to problems now : I have already too much food but I can’t refuse this present :-) and there is a dog front of me… Run! haha.

That’s the “Rainbow Warrior Memorial”.

On the left side of the picture, in the ocean, between the little islands, here sank the rainbow warrior in 1990, the greenpeace’s boat.
