Today we visited the Royal Park Rajapruek. It has several different areas like a garden, a “district” with different cultures represented by their building construction (like India, Japan, Cambodia, Bhutan, and others). This one was my favourite and represents Bhutan. It has very nice style and colours. Of course, the main attraction is the Royal temple (I don’t know if I can call it like this). Anyway, let’s start the visit :-)
This place is like IKEA. There is one road with arrows on the ground. If you follow them all the way you will have visited all the different places in the park. The area is quite large. Luckily we can cycle inside except on the area which is front of me now.
We are still far from the temple but the point of view is quite nice from here.
Second attempt.
Third try closer.
I Don’t know what it is (a bird house?) but it’s cute.
As I mentioned previously, I’m now in the “cultural district” and here is the Bhutan place.
I’ve looked at the other ones but was not inspired to take any pictures. On the other hand, this ones looked much better.
Some wood carving in the door.
Very flashy.
Now, I want to visit this country :-)
Geranium.
Another wood carving.
The painting and the colours they used work very well together. It’s quite graphic too.
Last one!
We have here the Japanese building but I could not find any other good angle view.
Ok, let’s have a look to that temple quickly.
I’m walking towards the front.
Front view.
The spying view.
We have access to the unique room inside. What is that sculpture?
I have absolutely no idea. I did not find any explication as well.
From the bottom…
To the middle…
To the top.
Next to the Bhutan construction I’ve seen a tower. What kind of view do you have from the top? I’m going to discover that very soon.
Well, I’ve imagined something better. That’s a 360° view but the other sides are blocked by the trees. The tower should have been slightly higher or the trees might have grown too fast, that’s another reason.
That’s it for today. I think this is gonna be my last temple visit in Thailand. I’m a bit bored with all of those temples. Thailand, has around 40.000 temples! For sure, I won’t visit all of them! The next post will be the day when I will leave Chiang Mai towards Laos. Few more days here, working on my blog and I will be back on the road again. See ya!
The Japanese building has Chinese influence, especially with the lantern.
Good bye Thailand.
Sympa la perspective de cette allée avec le temple tout au fond. La sculpture ?? Juste pour la déco non ?
